Sea dragons are great for young children to learn about keeping animals. They need to make sure they care for them properly giving them the right amount of food and making sure they don't die.

Sea Dragons are a type of brine shrimp and the tank can last up to 2 years - amazing!  When they do hatch you have to look very hard to see them as they're only the size of a full stop. Within 4 weeks they will have grown to 1/2 to 3/4 inch 1 -1.5 centimeters. This is there full size. After four weeks they will also start reproducing and the life cycle starts all over again.

Sea Dragons are easy to look after as long as you follow the the instructions. Kids can do research on the Internet prior to their sea dragons hatching to further the educational experience also look up Sea Monkeys, Artemia and Lake Eyre Australia.
