When I purchased these and they got shipped to me I thought they would be dried out but they came in water. Then the next day we got a bowl for them and I put them in and right a way they started munching the algae wafer I put in and earlier this morning I saw them crawling along the water tension.

Superior algae eaters!

These guys are excellent tank cleaners. They came out after a couple minutes and went straight to it. They go about their work eating algae with my Sea Monkeys bumping into them and 'investigating' them.
Update: Recently our A/C went out. They survived a few very cold mornings that led into blistering hot days. (6 days total and the tank lost at least 20% of the water to evaporation, and they were fine.)

Active and Multiplying

I found that the coco snails are more active than the teeny weeny winkles moving around the tank. I've had them for about a couple of months and they've reproduced! I have about 20+ baby coco snails in my tank now.. I'm hoping they survive.

Amazing little cleaners

These little guys came in a little bag and were protected in a case much like a CD case. Looking at them they did not seem like much. I was afraid that they may not have survived the journey as there were no apparent signs of life.
Then, I put them into the tank with my Sea Creatures. I went away for about five minutes and then when I returned I had the largest surprise. They were all out in force with their gastropod might cleaning up my Magical Sea Castle and it's grounds. Their arrival seemed to cheer up the Sea Creatures too with a flurry of activity from them.
They may not be conventionally pretty but they go after the grime straight away and are nice and active to look at. An excellent addition to the tank!
