About the "Sea-O-Wonders" range
Many parents consider getting their children fish, but Itsy Bitsy Sea Dragons and Friends - which, yes, are brine shrimp and little sea snails - are much hardier, cheaper to purchase
maintain, and generally sound much more fun and exciting to a child than getting for example a pet gold fish.
Sea Dragons can teach a child the value of taking care of a pet, and allow them to do so with a range of critters that are
hardy enough to only be fed once a week, and who can "magically" be
brought to life just by adding water!.
Also, we believe it should be a rite of passage for any child to
look back fondly on their childhood and recall that they had their very own little "Sea-O-Wonders".
The intellectually snobbish among some parents
may bristle at the idea of getting their child brine shrimp and a few little snails as pets, but chances are very slim that a child who really wants a pet will put up much of a fuss because their "Sea Dragons" are really brine shrimp...provided you tell them of course. :) It is easy to forget what its like to be a child where imagination and fantasy are still very strong directives. We have endeavored to research, create and offer an extensive range of other hardy little "salt water" critters and decor that make for a more interesting, compatible and ecologically sound community to enjoy than keeping just the brine shrimp by themselves as with (for example) the Sea Monkeys range of products.
