How do you ship these little guys?

Easy! Sea Bubbles can travel anywhere around the globe because their eggs hatch out just like Sea Monkeys or Sea Dragons. There are more critters out there that can hatch from sleeping eggs than you would believe and Little Aussies plan is to one day provide them all for you to hatch. You may know that Sea Monkeys were the first ‘instant pet’ to be marketed as far back as the 60s in the back of comics. These little guys were the first critters that hatched from sleeping eggs that you could purchase, then came Triops a decade or so ago which again has been another fantastic pet that kids have been able to enjoy.

Sea Bubbles eggs can stay in their little pack quite happily for a really long time and so if you have not set up your sea dragons or sea monkeys kit yet you can put them to the side and hatch them out later when your other pets are a little older or you can set them up in a small tank by them selves but if you do this you’ll first need to get some special Instant Sea Formula which is also available in our shop.

What if I can’t see them?

If they have been in transit for a really long time your Sea Bubble eggs may go dormant. When they do this, If they are sleeping it may be a few days to weeks before they wake back up again and come out to play.

What can they live in?
They want to be in a Sea Monkey sized tank with the same levels of sea salt formula that is included in either a Sea Monkeys or a Sea Dragons kit. Please don’t try to make your own salt up with “human grade" food/cooking/rock or aquarium salt. These kinds of salt will not work and will likely result in the death of your poor little Sea Bubbles! - So only set them up with Sea Monkey/Dragons kits! Or you can set them up later in a larger tank or bowl with Little Aussie Products special Instant Sea Formula.

What if I have no Sea Monkeys left in my ocean viewer but I have the water the Monkeys/Dragons were hatched in, can I put my Sea Bubbles in that?

Yes. Sea bubbles are very hardy and will happily live by them selves or with tank mates such as Sea Dragons and Winkles. Just remember to top the water back up with clean deminera lized/distilled or pure drinking water to the level that it was when you first set your Sea Monkeys/Dragons up in the very first place. with a bit of luck you may get some of the remaining eggs of your other pets to hatch out at the same time :)

Feeding.

Sea Bubbles are very easy to care for and will eat either food that is provided for Sea Monkeys or Sea Dragons and they will also feed on mico algae, diatoms and bacteria that occure naturaly in the tank.

Can Sea Bubbles have babies?

Yes, Sea Bubbles are very productive in that department and it may not be very long before your Sea Bubble family out numbers your Sea Monkey/Dragon clan, but they will never over crowed your other sea pets. They are just a lot smaller and so a tank can fit many, many more Bubbles in with out looking to full. Beleive it or not a few hundred Sea Bubbles can grow quite comfortably in a Sea Monkey ocean viewer!

Can Sea Bubbles do tricks?

Not that we know of yet, but we are watching carefully. If you discover a trick they can do please let us know and we will share the good news with every body so they can train their Sea Bubbles and have fun too. he he

These things are about the size of a pin head, but they are so active and always moving. I actually like to watch them more than my Sea Monkeys. Sea Monkeys kind of float through the water while Sea Bubbles zip around the tank like they are being pulled. It is incredible to see something this small move like they do. I have to recommend them to everyone who wants something moving around their tank actively.

Update: I recently reactivated an old, dry tank of Sea Monkeys that had these in it, and they were back. Like magic. I Must admit my surprise. This is a must have addition. I will be ordering more for another tank soon.

These guys are (so far) my favorite in the tank... wherever I look I see a bubble. I just got them last night, but I already love them. Update: I can't see many of them anymore, overnight they dissappered.... I just stared at my tank for a while and only saw one bubble....
Another update: I see a few huge ones (normaly 2) every time I shine their light right at the water. I sure hope they breed.....
Update: I see them alot but I only see one at a time. NOTE: not all of them become mature enough to breed.....
Update: These things are most active in darkness. During the day, they mimic kooky kelp, feathery plants, or mossy growth in the tank.

My poor growing Sea Monkey was feeling lonely because all of its brothers and sisters died for some unknown reason but now since I introduced these tiny guys, it seems to be alot happier which is great. Sometimes I see them play around

I LOVE the way they swim around then land on the surface for a bit. Very funny but adorable watching them.

I would highly recommend these cutie pies to everyone
