I have used this with everything and for everything. It looks great just by itself, or you can use it as a back ground decoration. It looks so dainty, but let me tell you this stuff is TOUGH. I have to use actual trimmers to properly cut it for specific tanks. I cannot tell you enough how wonderful this looks in my tanks. I have even cleaned it and added it to my freshwater tanks with a very positive review from the instant pets in those tanks...
Update: A few pieces strategically placed has allowed me to keep seed shrimp, clam shrimp and fairy shrimp quite happily entertained swimming through and around them while decorating my aquariums wonderfully.

I love the way they look in my tanks, so beautiful, delicate and versatile. When I got them I put them in both my natural tank and my fantasy tank and they look great in both. Now I want one for the office.
